Vikram Khullar has over 20+ years experience as a portfolio manager. Mr. Khullar earned his B.S. from the Indian Institute of Technology, his M.S. from Ohio State University, and his M.B.A. from New York University. Mr. Vikram Khullar, CFA is a Vice President and Senior Analyst at Fred Alger Management, Inc. Mr. Khullar joined the firm in 2015. Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager at National Fund Advisors. Prior to that, Mr. Khullar was a Portfolio Manager at Citigroup. His previous experience includes working as a Senior Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Buccaneer Investments, as well as a Senior Analyst at Wachovia Securities. Mr. Khullar is a member of the CFA institute and a CFA charter holder. Throughout his career, Vikram has managed portfolios and generated alpha for the portfolios and hedge funds he has managed. He has successfully identified market opportunities in various sectors such as real estate, software technologies, credit and others. Through his insight and excellence, he was able to get promoted from Analyst to Portfolio Manager in just 3 years. With his foresight he invested in Cognizant Technology (CTSH), FTI Consulting (FCN), VMWare (VMW) and Salesforce (CRM) before they became the big players they are today. Vikram is a founding member of the company.

Vinay Kalro has over 20+ years of experience in quantitative methods applied to engineering and finance. Vinay holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota and Bachelors of Technology in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is an expert in the use of quantitative and computational techniques and has over 30 publications in the field of High Performance Computing. Vinay has collaborated with numerous government research centers on the use of these techniques and has won numerous awards including the Education Award for Excellence for his work with US Army Solider Systems Command, the best Technical Paper Award at the 21st Army Science Conference and a bronze medal at the High Performance Computing Challenge held in Pittsburgh in 1996. More recently he has several years of expertise in the use of quantitative methods at large financial institutions where he has implemented complex computing frameworks for financial an insurance products and associated quantitative strategies. Vinay is a founding member and currently holds a passive interest in the company.

Kevin Breen has over 15+ years experience as a fixed-income/ macro portfolio manager and trader. Kevin holds a M.S. in quantitative finance from NYU’s Courant Institute, and a B.A. summa cum laude at Boston University, Economics and Mathematics. Kevin has worked in several multi-billion hedge fund and asset management firms in a range of successful proprietary investment funds, managing strategies from concept, through product design, and market execution. He is an expert in managing risk across global fixed income markets, and actively engaged in running and developing quantitative and systematic strategies in the US MBS market currently. Kevin has had an illustrative career where has earned millions for the portfolios he has managed. He has used his expertise to create profitable investment frameworks for products that range in markets all across the world. In addition, Kevin has also personally developed robust trading platforms. Kevin also successfully assisted in the spin out and formation of C12 Capital from Barclays PTMG group. Kevin is a founding member of the company.

Reaz Islam is an entrepreneur and a seasoned investment/financial services professional with more than 25 years of leadership, innovation, restructuring, business development and execution expertise across various public and private markets in both start-ups and well-established companies. He attended Cornell University in New York, where he earned a B.S. specializing in Economics and Statistics and MBA with double majors in Finance and Operations Research (Financial Engineering Track) from New York University Stern School of Business. Reaz spent 18 years at Citigroup in New York and became the Managing Director at the age of 32. Reaz spent 12 years as the Managing Director, SIO, and CIO of the bank’s Fixed Income Alternatives unit, part of the Alternative Investments Group. His flagship Municipal Arbitrage fund earned an average of 12.6 percent p.a. realized returns from 2002 to the first quarter of 2007, and grew to $2 billion+ from $50. His funds were hurt by the financial meltdown/liquidity crisis in 2008. Nonetheless, due to his resilience, Reaz did not let the financial crisis or financial loss hold him back. He left Citigroup on amicable terms to follow his visionary instincts and become a Managing Partner at LR Global — a frontier market public and private investment firm founded by J. Murray Logan – Rockefeller & Co., in New York and founded its Asian operation in 2008, and consistently generated over 4% alpha for last ten years. Reaz serves as a senior advisor to the leadership team for public and private companies in the U.S. and abroad across multiple industries including, FinTech (KKR Tech), Digital Media & Gaming (DraftDay), Packaging (Unicorn), and Healthcare (Thyrocare). Reaz is a founding member of the company.
